Our Church

Mission & Vision Statements

Our Vision

Impacting Life Ministries is a Church of influence, a church that impacts, a Church so large in size that the city and nation cannot ignore it.  A Church growing so quickly that buildings struggle to contain the increase.  We exist to be a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.

We are a Church whose heartfelt praise and worship touches Heaven and impacts earth.  Our altar is constantly filled with repentant sinners responding to Christ’s call to salvation.

Impacting Life Ministries has a message so clear that lives are changed forever and potential is fulfilled through the power of His Word; a message that is tailored made for the lives of those who embrace it.

This will be a Church so committed to raising, training and empowering a leadership generation to reap the end-time harvest, that we will do all that it takes to see the greatness of God come to pass as we rely totally on the Holy Spirit and we will allow nothing to stop it nor stand against it; we are a Church whose people are unified, praying and full of God’s Spirit.

Our Mission

Impacting Life Ministries seeks to embrace Christ’s teaching in Matthew 25:34-36(NKJV) for He said “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” We want to show Christ to you no matter your issue or situation; simply by meeting you at your point of need, as we believe that this will make the greatest IMPACT on your life.

We shall accomplish our mission by creating an atmosphere where people are encouraged to pursue intimacy with God through the proclamation of His word and the persistent prayers of the people. We will allow our worship and praise to flow so purely and freely that the atmosphere will be conducive for the indwelling of God’s presence; for in his presence is safety, liberty and unity. We seek to turn the hearts and minds of the young, the old, and their families unto God and each other; developing our God-given potential in order to win in every area of our lives. We shall devote our mind, body and soul to “IMPACTING THE KINGDOM OF GOD ONE LIFE AT A TIME”!

Impacting Life Ministries STATEMENT OF FAITH

What We Believe:

The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

The Godhead
Our God is One, but manifested in three persons — the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal. (Phil. 2:6) God the Father is greater than all, the sender of the Word and the begetter. (John 14:28; John16:28; John 1:14) The Son is the Word flesh-covered, the One Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning. (John 1:1; John 1:18 and John 1:14) The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and Son and is eternal. (John 15:26) We affirm the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His Ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

Man, His Fall and Redemption
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” Jesus Christ, the Son of God was manifested to undo the work of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. (Rom. 5:14; Rom. 3:23; 1 John 3:8) Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. (Eph. 2:8)

Eternal Life and the New Birth
Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced produces eternal life. (2 Cor. 7:10; 1 John 5:12; Romans 10:8-11; John 3:3-5)

Water Baptism
Baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of the Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col.2:12)

Holy Communion
Communion, or the partaking of the Lord’s Table, is a divinely instituted ordinance. (Matt. 26:26-29; Luke 22:19-29; 1 Cor. 11:23-26) The bread and wine are symbolic of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the ordinance is a memorial of His death for our redemption. “For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till He come.” Believers are commanded to participate in this ordinance after examining themselves.

The Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We affirm the fullness of the Holy Spirit as the empowerment of the Christian for witness and service. We believe that the Holy Spirit provides one or more spiritual gifts to all believers, manifesting them as He wills. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operative today. (Gal. 5:16-25; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 12:4-11)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism in the Holy Ghost (Spirit) and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the New Birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. (Matt. 3:11; John 13:16, 17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38, 39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:4)

Sanctification
The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return. (Heb. 12:14; 1 Thess. 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; Phil. 3:12-14; 1 Cor. 1:30)

Divine Healing
We believe healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the power of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the Church today. (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Matt. 8:17; Isa. 52:4, 5)

Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord
The angels said to Jesus’ disciples, “This same Jesus shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” His coming is imminent. When He comes, “…the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air….” (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:16, 17)

Hell and Eternal Retribution
The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost, doomed to the lake of fire and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The lake of fire is literal. The terms “eternal” and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God. (Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19:20)

The Church of Jesus Christ
We affirm the one, universal Church which is the Body of Christ. We affirm Christ as its Head. We believe all who are born again are its members. (1 Cor. 12:12-27) The Church’s purpose is to offer worship to God, fellowship, ministry and instruction to itself, and evangelism and service to the world. We affirm the ministries set forth in Ephesians 4:11and 1 Cor. 12:28.
